The Friends of Talbot Islands State Parks is the non profit arm of the Talbot Islands State Parks. We help the parks do more with less. As operating budgets shrink, Citizen Support Organizations (CSO's) lend a hand by fund-raising or providing volunteer 'people power' to help complete important projects.

We need you! Our members and their love of our park are the engine that drives our organization. Your effort, your ideas and your contributions will make our piece of the 'Real Florida' a special place to visit and reconnect with the natural world. Contact us now! You're all we need to keep the Talbot Islands the jewel of the First Coast.

The Friends group formerly called Sarabay Society, founded in 1997, is one of 78 Citizen Support Organizations (CSOs) who assist the Department of Environmental Protection's Division of Recreation and Parks with education, maintenance and fundraising. There are over 6000 members throughtout the state. CSOs are non-profit corporations given special status by Florida law that make it possible for members to support their favorite State Park.

In past years, the CSO has sponsored many activities. Future plans will broaden the focus on helping the park rangers with programs and support materials that will meet the specific needs of the many groups that our parks serve.

There are many new and exciting projects planned for the near future, but they will only happen with

your help!
